Agent

New this weekLast checked

An open-source, always-on AI assistant that runs on an Android phone, with its own browser, a wiki-style memory and optional SSH machines for heavy jobs. You bring the model.

Our Take

Agent is for people who want a real AI assistant on an Android phone, not a chat window. It browses on its own, keeps a wiki-style memory, and hands heavy work to machines you can SSH into, showing you any command that changes a machine before it runs. The README is refreshingly frank about the rough edges: it's sideloaded and not reviewed by Google, the APK is about 360 MB because Codex and Claude Code ship inside it, it's been tested mainly on one Samsung phone, and the Claude subscription login "is not officially sanctioned." Treat it as an ambitious early project and read the README before you install it. Source
